Quality Manager – WESTEX Consulting Engineers & President/Founder – Tier 1 Engineering

Brian T. Clark, P.E, joined WESTEX Consulting Engineers as quality manager in 2023. Clark is also the president/founder of Tier 1 Engineering (a subsidiary of WESTEX Consulting Engineers), providing engineering services for geotechnical and materials testing. With a strong background in concrete and construction materials, Clark founded Tier 1 Engineering in 2021 to focus on delivering high-quality solutions that prioritize precision and reliability.

A native of Reno, Nevada, Clark earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. With over 20 years of experience, he has practiced engineering throughout northern Nevada and California and is currently based in southwest Florida. Clark serves as a mentor to young field and lab technicians and is an official examiner for the Northern Nevada/California Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). In his downtime, Clark enjoys watching football, playing golf, and is a dedicated family man to his wife and sons.
